July 2021 marks the second anniversary of Telestream acquiring the Tektronix video test and synchronization business. For years, Tektronix was the world’s leader in waveform monitoring. Knowing how important this technology is to those working in professional video, in 2020, Telestream integrated the PRISM Waveform Monitor platform with the Inspect 2110 solution for monitoring multiple 2110 streams “by exception.” By early 2021, we introduced six new PRISM models, making it the ideal choice for creative applications in production, post production, and beyond.
Telestream immediately knew that Tek’s intellectual property and engineering expertise could be a huge asset that, together with Telestream’s existing businesses, would advance its technology solutions and expand the diversity of the applications into which they fit.
